Marriage Ministry
MISSION STATEMENT:
The Marriage Ministry Team of Mount Zion Baptist Church is designed to assist couples in the church and the community in the development, growth, and enrichment of marriage in accordance with God’s plan for the design and functionality of marriage; assist in the preservation of the sanctity of the marriage institution; and support the enhancement and enrichment of marital relationships, through the power of the Holy Spirit, for the radical transformation of couples and their individual relationships with God.
GOALS:
- Provide encouragement and assistance in improving individual relationships with God by equipping men to be spiritual leaders and women to be helpmates.
- Equipping couples with new knowledge and skills, based on solid Biblical principles, through the mediums of classroom teaching; selection and distribution of appropriate materials; arrangement of training seminars, special events, retreats, and other venues.
- Reinforcement of training programs to allow individuals to internalize and utilize the knowledge and skills obtained.
